Business and finance careers: accountant
There are different types of accountants, mainly those who work for companies and those who work for private clients. Accountants are the people who do make sure that the person's or company's taxes are done well and done legally. Those who work for companies also analyze the company's spending and profits all to help the company make the most money.
Business and finance careers: budget analyst
Budget analyst can also work for private clients or for companies, sometimes even the government. Budget analysts are the people who take a look at a person's or company's spending, necessary costs, and income and from that figure out a budget that will work effectively. They help people stay on track with their money, save their money, and even make profits.
Business and finance careers: insurance underwriter
Insurance underwriters are the people responsible for providing you with insurance and figuring out the cost of that insurance. When someone applies for insurance, the insurance underwriter analyzes that persons history with the kind of insurance they are trying to get, such as car insurance. By taking a look at their driving record, the insurance underwriter can figure out how safe and how risky it is to insure this person, if they decide to insure this person, they will also be responsible for figuring out their monthly rate.
Business and finance careers: real estate appraiser
Real estate appraisers are the people who figure out how much a property is worth. Real estate appraisers have to take a look at everything that could effect how much a property is worth, like location, size, damages, and many other things. They have to be very precise because underselling a property will not go over well with a client, and over-pricing means that there will be no buyers.
Business and finance careers: cost estimators
Cost estimators are the people who figure how much something is going to cost before it is actually built. Cost estimators are hired by people who are thinking about building on a property or thinking about building anything to figure out what they can afford. These people are very important to new businesses and those whose careers deal with real estate.
