Carfagna's Kitchen is Columbus, Ohio's Destination for Family-Style Italian Food
Famous for Their Italian Grocery, the Carfagna Family Opens a Restaurant
After offering prepared Italian meals for years at their grocery store, the next obvious step involved the creation of their own Italian restaurant, and Carfagna's Kitchen is the result.
Carfagna's Kitchen Quickly Became Columbus's Best Italian Restaurant
Soon after opening in the Polaris area of North Columbus, Carfagna's Kitchen quickly established itself as one of Columbus's best Italian restaurants.
The restaurant features counter ordering, with a waitress delivering the food to the table soon after. The menu at Carfagna's Kitchen covers the full range of Italian cuisine, so their "Pick 2 Meals" feature is the best way to sample the family offerings.
Included in the Pick 2 Meals deal are an array of mini sandwiches, with the mini Italian Sausage Sub being especially excellent. Carfagna's homemade Italian Sausage is considered a family specialty.
Other included menu options involve a choice of various pasta dishes and salads. The Baked Lasagna pairs well with the mini Italian Sausage Sub.
The Excellent Sauces Highlight the Menu at Carfagna's Kitchen
Any Italian restaurant should be judged by their sauces, and the varieties offered at Carfagna's do not disappoint. Especially notable is their Arrabiatto sauce with a spicy kick highlighted by chunks of peppers and olives.
Carfagna's sauces (including their pizza sauce) are jarred and available for carryout.
Carfagna's Kitchen offers a full array of pizza choices, including a large number of specialty pizzas in addition to building one's own. The menu is finished off with a selection of Italian desserts; there is also a decent beer and wine menu.
Carfagna's Kitchen is the perfect spot for anyone seeking out true Italian family dining. Only one visit is needed to make Carfagna's a new family favorite. The homemade quality of their offerings make Carfagna's a slot above the typical Italian chain restaurant.
