Cargo LashActivator mascara is a primer and mascara in one that was designed to improve the appearance of lashes in thirty days. I haven't used it for thirty days yet so I can't comment on that. According to Sephora's product description for this mascara, "Cargo LashActivator contains a nourishing blend of ingredients that has been proven to visibly increase the appearance of lashes' length and fullness." This is because Cargo LashActivator contains marine algae extract, Flavonoids and Peptide-biotin.
What I liked about Cargo LashActivator mascara was that it separated, defined, as well as lengthened my lashes. I love the fan like effect I get using this mascara. The best part was that there was no lumping, smudging or smearing, even better was that it didn't flake. I can't wear mascaras that flake because I wear contact lenses, and getting mascara debris trapped under my contact lenses hurt like the dickens.
There were several negative aspects to Cargo LashActivator mascara too. The main thing I didn't like about this mascara was that it cost $35 for a regular size tube. My other problem with this mascara was the plastic brush. First of all, it's completely plastic, even the brush bristle. Due to the sparse plastic bristle I felt like I was wasting mascara because a lot of it got on my waterline and my lash line. The brush was also very bendy. I don't like the bendy brush because I have a harder time controlling it and as a result I have more mess to clean up around my eyes. Cargo LashActivator doesn't seem to do anything to volumize it seems, and I've used it several times a week since I got it.
My overall opinion of Cargo LashActivator is that it's a pretty good mascara that doesn't budge and lasts pretty much most of the day, but it's not exactly worth spending $35 on. My lashes look lovely with this mascara but I prefer one that thickens too because length alone sort of made my lashes look even more sparse.
