We started looking for every odd job we could find. We had lost our home, all of our belongings, and our health. My husband already was unable to work a significant job due to his back. He worked odd jobs that paid the bills, but after our toxic mold battle, and loss, that became harder than ever, and no one would help us. We were left to figure it out, and beg, borrow, or whatever we had to do in order to survive. Because of how long we were in the moldy house, and how severely we were sensitized to the mold, we had to leave our home state, and move 1000 miles across the Country just to find housing we could live in without getting sick!
Just a few months before our move, we each signed up to AC, and started what is now, our main source of income! Neither of us make a lot on AC, as many know, writing quality articles can take some time, especially when you are doing a great deal of research, but over the last 18 months, we have learned how to SEO our articles, and give them good keywords to reach the highest search rankings, and this helps our earnings to increase.
Although we do not make enough on AC for anyone to live on comfortably, we make enough between the two of us to pay our $200.00 trailer payment, and that to us is a huge blessing! AC has also opened doors to other writing gigs that we would have otherwise never gotten, as well as giving a platform by which to be discovered by a full time job we can do from home.
No, we have not been discovered yet, but we are hopeful that someone in need of writing from our area of expertise, will find one, (or both), of us, and give us a full time writing job that will pay all our bills, so we will no longer have to be disabled, poor, and scrapping to survive. We will always be disabled, but if the right individual finds our writing, and hires us, we will no longer be poor, and that could not be a possibility, if not for AC.
Am I an AC success story? Some may think not, but I think so, because if not for AC and my writing, my family would be in financial ruins right now, thanks to AC, that is not the case!
