Cold, creamy, delectable-what could I be describing? Just one of the nearly 100 flavors that Carmen & David's Creamery creates at their location on 25 North Queen Street in Downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Open from 6 p.m-9 p.m. Monday, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 12:00-10:30 p.m. Friday, 11:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m to 7 p.m. Sunday, you have many opportunities to visit their location across from the Fulton Opera House.

With funky flavors such as Molasses, or Rum Raisin, you can explore the sweet and savory. Don't forget to try one of their fantastic sundaes. I personally recommend the Captain Crunch sundae which is a big kid's perfect sundae treat.

I have enjoyed living just blocks from this Creamery. They make their ice cream right in the shop, guaranteeing its' freshness and quality. It is a perfect creamy consistency filled with flavor that satisfies your taste buds.

While you enjoy a cone, dish, sundae, or milkshake, you can also enjoy a freshly made French press coffee while relaxing in their ample seating area. Outside there are also a few café tables to enjoy the street view, and even a water dish when you stop by with Fido.

Carmen & David's Creamery is family owned, and provides a funky fun atmosphere with lots of color, and even more flavor. On hand daily are roughly 15 different flavors of ice cream, but stop by often to experience their full array of nearly 100 varieties that they create fresh.

The Creamery has brought a much needed old fashioned parlor setting to the downtown area that was previously lacking any such shop. It has been a great addition to the downtown district, and sits next to the popular Prince Street Café which seems to be a great compliment instead of competitor.

All of my experiences at the Creamery, whether just for a scoop of ice cream, or a decadent sundae, have been met with pure satisfaction and a craving for more of their smoothly goodness. Stop by and enjoy a treat.
