Defense on the Carolina Panthers has been an issue on this team but they have recovered well from the loss of Julius Peppers to the Chicago Bears. Up front the Carolina Panthers have been solid but they are still weak against the run. They are yielding over 132 yards per game on the ground but they are playing well containing receivers on the edges. The corners are holding opposing passers to 205 yards per game through the air.
