Carrie Prejean's sex tape and racy pictures are popular. So popular, in fact, that "Carrie Prejean" and "sex tape" go together like "Bert" and "Ernie." If I were to tell you that she recently wrote a book, would you be surprised? I am not surprised at all that she wrote a book. After all, everyone that has their 15 minutes of fame gets to write and promote a memoir about their "trials and tribulations." For Ms. Prejean, her "trials and tribulations" include getting fired from Miss California because of her religious beliefs.

Now that you have stopped laughing, think back a few months. Perez Hilton asked Ms. Prejean what she thought about gay marriage. While representing the state of California in the Miss USA pageant and speaking to a gay individual, she downgraded the issue, stating that marriage is between a man and a woman.

After losing her chances of becoming Miss USA, Donald Trump fired Miss California. She then proceeded to sue the pageant, stating she was religiously discriminated against. She portrayed herself as a wholesome and pure individual. Little did we know that she would become the subject of many sex tape video download and racy photo scandals.

The Carrie Prejean sex tape has remained in the top 40 items Web users search for on Google. No one is interested in her new book, "Still Standing." Many people feel that the promotion of her book is the reason that the sex tape and racy photos were released.

Instead of being known as Miss California and the author of a book, Carrie Prejean is known for hard-core sex tapes, nude pictures and a string of lies. Perhaps her next book should be a "come to Jesus" book where she finally reveals the TRUTH about what has happened the past few months. What were the true reasons for settling the lawsuit with Miss California? Why did she really make the sex tapes? Was she really "tricked" in to making the racy photos?

You see, the sex tapes and pictures in and of themselves aren't enough to warrant a full-scale controversy. After all, the tape in question didn't feature anyone else other than just Ms. Prejean herself. There was no male (or female) participants. The racy photos that are retrievable online aren't full nudes - or even all that revealing. That is, unless you are offended by a two-piece bathing suit and some sultry looks.

Right now, she should be getting significant press not because of some videos or pictures, but because of her book. Instead, it's the same-ol-same-ol fallen beauty queen sex scandal controversies.
