Carrie Prejean Video Causes Prejean to Drop Law Suit

A Carrie Prejean video seems to have tanked the Prejean law suit. This Carrie Prejean video (a sex tape) was reportedly presented to her during settlement negotiations with Miss California USA Pageant officials, and caused her to immediately agree to a settlement in the case. Carrie Prejean was the former Miss California who lost her crown when officials determined that she was not doing her job as a pageant representative. There are mixed opinions about why she lost the crown, stemming from nude photographs she had taken as well as press conferences and talk show appearances she gave without permission from the pageant.

Now news has come out from TMZ that a Carrie Prejean sex tape exists that depict Prejean performing solo acts. The video is reportedly very graphic, and TMZ had claimed before that they had the tape, but would not release it because it was far too racy. Carrie Prejean had denied that it was her in the video, but that all seems to have ended when she was presented with the tape in front of all the lawyers and officials sitting in on the settlement negotiations of a law suit she had filed against the pageant for wrongful termination. It is reported that Carrie Prejean again denied the video being of her, yet when it began showing the face of the person in the video, it took her "about 15 seconds" to settle.

It's really hard to understand what has been going through the head of Carrie Prejean in recent months. She had the opportunity to be a great role model for kids, and she won the crown of Miss California that would have allowed her the vehicle to make that happen. All she had to do was follow pageant rules that she had signed her name to, and she could have enjoyed the easy life of a promotional tour designed with showing her off to the public for a full year. But she couldn't follow those rules, and turned out to be the exact opposite of anything that we would want our children to emulate. This latest scandal is going to officially hang a black flag over her celebrity permanently.

Hopefully the Carrie Prejean sex tape never makes it to the public, because it had to be something that she filmed for herself or with someone she knew. The problem with videos like these though, is that if you are a celebrity and you decide to film one, people are going to stop at nothing to get their hands on it and air it to the world. With an especially out-spoken person such as Carrie Prejean, you would have thought that she would be extra careful about preventing this tape from ever seeing the light of day. Instead she had dragged not only her name, but that of her family through the mud once again.
