Carrie Prejean Video Sex Tape: Part of Her Christian Outreach Program?

If former Miss California Carrie Prejean's book, Still Standing, doesn't sell well, she might actually have a future as an actress, considering that she might have a sex video tape. Not that a sex video tape is proof of Carrie Prejean's acting ability, but her posturing and hypocritical protestations, not to mention her bald-faced misrepresentations about her naked pictures (both when they were taken and that there were only the first set), are ample proof that she can act with the best of them. Move over Charlize Theron! There's a new blonde beauty ready to take Hollywood by storm. And Carrie Prejean already allegedly has an audition tape (if sex video tapes count as audition tapes).

TMZ reported Thursday that 2009 Miss Wholesome and Pure,* Carrie Prejean, dropped her million dollar lawsuit against Miss California USA when their lawyers showed her the sex video. According to TMZ, "We're told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to jettison her demand and essentially walk away with nothing."

TMZ maintains that they have known about the Carrie Prejean video sex tape for several months. They describe the sex tape as "graphic" and "racy." They also use revealing terms like "handiwork," "home video," and "solo career," so she may have been without a partner. Thus far, the Carrie Prejean sex video tape has not made it to a public forum.

But Carrie Prejean had. After making a rather obvious error in judgment and in her wording of an answer to Perez Hilton's same-sex marriage question during the Miss USA Pageant earlier this year, Carrie Prejean then decided to cloak herself in religion and Right wing politics, becoming the darling of the anti-gay religious right and a popular guest on various talk shows, including several on Fox News. The controversy grew from a few ill-considered words (and allegations that she lost the Miss USA Pageant because of them) to a full-blown scandal as she made the talk show circuit attempting to justify her remarks and herself, appearances that neither sat well with Miss California USA, who wanted Prejean to apologize for her remarks, nor were approved.

When naked pictures of her surfaced, Miss California Carrie Prejean stated publicly that they were naked pictures taken of her as a 17-year-old. (They were not; she was at least 20 and perhaps even 21.) She told the Miss California USA administration that those were the only naked pictures of her. (They were not. Several sets of pictures of Carrie Prejean nude appeared on the internet.)

Miss California USA then attempted to strip Carrie Prejean of her crown and title. Donald Trump, who owns the Miss USA Pageant, stepped in and allowed Prejean to keep her title. After allegedly missing a few Miss California events and becoming uncooperative (which Carrie Prejean denied), Miss California USA stripped Prejean of her crown in June.

Since then, Carrie Prejean has written a book, Still Standing: The Untold Story of My Fight Against Gossip, Hate, and Political Attacks, which will be released on November 9. She has been countersued by Miss California USA for a return on their investment in her augmented breasts (which was how they knew her "17-year-old" pictures were not of her when she was 17 years old). The two parties have been locked in negotiations for the past several weeks.

Until now. The Carrie Prejean sex video tape changes everything.

Some might suggest that Miss California USA using the sex video tape to halt Carrie Prejean's claims is a form of extortion, but it is not. What the video sex tape represents is insurmountable proof of Carrie Prejean's lies. Not just of the time the naked (nude) pictures were taken but of her adamant claims that there was nothing else -- no more naked pictures, no nothing.

Except... she "forgot" to mention that she had made a video of herself having sex...

The 22-year-old former beauty queen who was going on talk shows bemoaning left-wing and gay persecution and trumpeting family values had engaged in sex on video and several instances of false witness. One might want to ask the former Miss California if her sex video tape was part of the church outreach ministry in which she is reportedly involved. And just how liberal is her church anyway?

Perhaps Regnery Press would like to reconsider the title of that soon-to-be-released book as well, although it might be just a bit late for that...

In any event, those who have been her constant supporters through all of the "gossip, hate, and political attacks," will have more ammunition for their ridiculous assertions of persecution. Instead of pointing to character and false representation on Carrie Prejean's part, the religious and political Right have jumped to her defense in the past. It remains to be seen how many of them will remain steadfast after the video sex tape allegations (especially if said sex video tape surfaces on the internet). Her publicist is A. Larry Ross Communications, a prominent Christian organization that represents people like Rick Warren and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. One wonders how they'll spin this twist in the tale -- "that was when she was so much younger than her current 22 years" might be used -- or if they will even make an attempt. But they probably won't abandon her. Not offering forgiveness and a chance at redemption would be so very un-Christian of them.

Nor would they want to be seen as anything like their client...

An interesting note: Amazon.com is offering Carrie Prejean's testimony of her version of the truth along with the sure to be autobiographical masterpiece of the more incoherent former beauty queen, Sarah Palin. The two books are being offered together for $27.95. Rest assured that these testaments to modern literature will reflect the hopes, dreams, and ideals of "real America." Even if Amazon threw in the Carrie Prejean video sex tape...
