Carrie Underwood 'Temporary Home' Song Lyrics Review
A Detailed Review of the Song Lyrics from Her Album 'Play On'
The lyrics to Carrie Underwood's song Temporary Home are both inspiring and wonderful because they reassure all of us that there is a home for us in Heaven. Even though these lyrics don't directly mention Heaven, they talk about death and moving on and how you will see your loved ones again. The first time I heard this song, I had tears in my eyes because it was sad, but also happy and beautiful. The song first talks about a child who is an orphan and has never had a real home, then it goes on to talk about a mother who is on her own with her baby girl and has nowhere to go, but hopes to find a real home one day. The song then goes to an older man who is dying in the hospital, but he tells his family that he is going home, to his real home, which I know is Heaven. The song is a beautiful depiction of how earth is really just a temporary home for all of us, and those who believe that Jesus died for us will be going to our real home in Heaven one day. Anyone who listens to this song is sure to be inspired and hopefully it will make you feel good to know that you have a real home waiting for you.

I loved reading your article and knowing that you feel the way I do about Temporary Home. I am only 16 and it made me think about life, my Mom and Dad and other family members and the fact that we are only passing through this life. Carrie is a wonderful vocalist and she delivers the message in this song brilliantly. It makes me cry every time!!!!!
