Carroll County High School Prom 2009

Carroll County High School is a school for grades 10-12 located in Hillsville, Virginia. They are known for having extravagant prom themes. Prom 2009 is coming up within the next week for Carroll County. This years theme is a Journey through Egypt. The colors are Egyptian traditional - gold and teal. The decorations include a large pyramid and a sphinx.

On April 17th juniors and seniors, along with their guests, from Carroll County will pile into the CCHS gym for Prom 2009. This magical night will last from 8:00 PM until midnight. A photographer will be in the auditorium lobby taking pictures from 7:30 PM until 10:30 PM. The gym will be open with lights on and decorations displayed from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM for parents wishing to take their own personal pictures.

The photographer will have a prom book to display the picture packages available for students to buy. The photographer will take formal pictures, couples or singles standing in front of an Egyptian background, along with candid shots of the students while they are dancing and having fun with their fellow students.

In high school relationships are very important, especially around the time of prom. Because of this fact, the 2009 Carroll County High School Prom will have a promenade for interested couples at 9:00 PM.

Carroll County High School won a contest on stumpsprom.com and won money for prom, this lowered ticket prices for students attending prom. Juniors and senior paid $15 for their tickets, and their guests paid $20. That took $5 off of all tickets. This shows how enthusiastic students are about their prom; they spent their time on a computer casting thousands of votes just to ensure that their prom would be extravagant as usual.

The after-prom theme for 2009 is a Night on the Town! It lasts from midnight until 4:00 AM. It is at the new Hillsville Elementary School in Hillsville, Virginia. There will be games, prizes, eating contests, competitions, and free food. Some of the games are basketball, nintendo wii, rock band, guitar hero, rook, and more. Prizes include a tv, mp3 player, digital camera, cd player, gift cards, and more! Free t-shirts will be given out beginning at 2:00 AM. There will also be four chances to win a new car!

Both prom and after-prom are guaranteed to be a safe and fun event. With CCHS faculty attending the prom and a strong rule about drugs and alcohol there is no doubt that A Journey through Egypt will be safe for students, families, faculty, and everybody else also.

A Night In Egypt Prom 2009 is guaranteed to be an exciting and fun opportunity for both students and parents. Prom has always been known to be a magical night, especially in Carroll County.
