Carson Palmer's Career is Over in Cincinnati
Did He Really Think We Could Say that and Not Get Booed Off the Field!
"I cannot stand the Buckeyes. It's amazing to hear what those guys think about that university and what they think about that football program and Tressel and all the crap I gotta put up with being back there.I just can't wait for two years from now when SC comes to the 'Shoe and hopefully we'll have a home game that weekend, and I can go up there and watch us pound on them in their own turf.
I'm really getting sick of it, and I just can't wait for this game to get here so they can come out to the Coliseum and experience LA and get an old-fashioned Pac-10 butt-whoopin' and go back to the Big Ten."
I lived in central Ohio for 20 years before moving to So-Cal a few years back (BTW, I love the Bucs, Bengals, and Reds but I do support ALL my new, local sport team, including the Dodgers and Trojans) so I have tight ties to my old stomping grounds. I took a little survey of mid-America friends and this is what I heard ...loud and clear....Palmer, we will boo you every play until you leave Cincinnati.
What was he thinking? In less than 1 minute he committed career suicide. Quarterbacks are supposed to make sound decisions. This decision to verbally assault Ohio's sacred icon was a poor decision indeed. For gosh sake, we now have fans that are passing on season tickets in order to boycott the Bengal's quarterback.
Remember folks....The Bengals are not at fault, so do not hold them responsible. Please go to the games. Let Palmer know your thoughts, but please support the home team.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Carson,,,, C-YA!

Post a CommentHow in the heck can USC fans rant and rave when they are starting the season at #3. OSU is at #2, and Georgia is #1. GO GEORGIA!
I am a Bucks fan and was a CP fan until these comments...the retraction was better still. Carson is a great QB, but sadly you are correct. His time in Cincy is over. Every mistake from here on out will be tied back to these comments.
The Buckeyes will Rock USC's World!
HAHA! Carson is awesome! I hope USC ROCKS OHIO STATE this september!!!
