Cascading Popples

Fall Foliage in Minnesota

Robin Cook
Saplings took root and started to grow,
planted by a thoughtful man many years ago.
Today, golden leaves destined by grace,
drift down and tumble about all over the place.
Gilded trees continue to expand, becoming sturdier,
each year they mature, constantly getting prettier.
Until finally majestic, flaunting their colors,
replete with iridescent glory, unequaled by others.
