Casey Anthony Getting Released on Sunday

Will the Fine, Law Abiding Citizens Murder Her Now?

It has been totally amazing to watch the story of Casey Anthony unfold over the last 3 years. Many have sat and watched day after day, throughout the investigation and her trial. Her lawyers and the defense put on a show that would rival any Law & Order episode. In the end, she was found not guilty of the murder of her daughter, little Caylee.

Nancy Grace and many other news personalities, that made a 3 year long career from covering this story, have been astonished at the outcome. They are apalled at the jury, for letting her go free on such a heinous charge. Me too, sort of. My anger is not at the jury. The jury did their job. They took the evidence that they were given and judged accordingly. The anger in all of this should be directed towards the incompetence of the police and the people who initially investigated. They were negligent in so many aspects of this case. Makes you wonder about other cases. They dropped the ball. The prosecution could only prove what they had been given by police or investigators. If those people didn't do their jobs, how could the courts? They had several years to get it together.

As Casey Anthony prepares for her release, does she really have to worry about the hundreds of death threats she has received? Death threats brought on by people's anger and feeling that Casey did something manipulative to win her case. She did nothing throughout the trial. She didn't talk, she didn't offer anything. She tried to convict herself, before the trial, by lying about everything. She was saying, "just decipher the lies and you have got me". That didn't happen. It is not her fault, the courts could not get the job done. That is called living in America. Right or wrong, it is our way of handling justice.

I would venture to speculate that she does have to worry about what is going to happen, after tomorrow. Sadly, the threats are coming from law abiding citizens, willing to do the same thing she may have done! People who have gotten angry to the point of becoming irrational. People who have probably always been fairly honest, work hard and are probably people who go to church and say they believe in God. Yet, here we are seeing, normal, everyday people lose their minds over this case. Why? Why are people getting so over-involved in this situation with Casey Anthony?

Who really thinks that by killing her, you are better than her? Who really thinks that killing her will solve anything?

The entire Anthony family has issues. Secret, hidden issues that will always be there. Should the entire family be killed? Come On! If we started taking justice into our own hands, lots of people would be gone instantly. That is why we live in America. Right, wrong or indifferent, our justice system is what it is. This girl walked away from this charge without consequences being imposed.

First of all, I don't truly think Casey Anthony killed Caylee on purpose. I think it was an accident. A horrible accident. Her crime was covering it up so brutally. Covering it up and not appearing to be concerned was a crime. Looking like she didn't care was her biggest crime. For that, she is guilty and should be held accountable. She is not going to be held accountable by the court's standards.

However, in my heart, I am a firm believer in that old bastard we all dearly love called "Karma". Karma is one of the best justice systems in our world. You can walk away from things that you do bad, from time to time, but you don't get away with it forever. O.J. is our best example. He got away with murder the first time, but eventually Karma came back for him. Now, he is sitting in prison. You don't actually get away with anything bad. It just appears that way at first.

Whatever Casey Anthony has done, she has been found innocent by our courts. It is not our place to impose a sentence of death on her. With the history of her family and all of the problems, it is just a matter of time before she hangs herself. She won't get away with it, in the long run. Karma never forgets and it never gives anyone a pass forever.

The self righteous folks that are trying to threaten her and scare her, should remember that. You are no better than her if you kill her or try to harm her. Justice was done according to our courts and it should be left for Karma to handle from here. Those people who are threatening her, should go to jail. They are breaking the law just like she did.
