Casey Johnson's death was caused by diabetic ketoacidosis. Coroner's reports indicate the young heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune did die of natural causes.

Casey Johnson was found dead on January 4th, 2010. Everyone was shocked to learn of her death, although some thought she may have been living an unhealthy lifestyle.

Diabetes is a health issue that can lead to ketoacidosis in certain instances. Although Casey Johnson knew she was diabetic, it was reported she consumed alcohol regularly, did not always eat the way she needed to, and at one point was using drugs.

Charlotte fans wanted to hear that Casey's death was due to natural causes. Reports show Casey had been in rehab at some point, but left without completing treatment.

Casey Johnson's death from diabetic ketoacidosis occurred when she was just 30 years old. Johnson was apparently alone when she died. Casey had been diabetic most of her brief life, and it is reported that she had been in a coma due to her condition on two occasions.
