Cash for Appliances Available Again

Cash for Appliances is available again. It is hoped that this rebate program will help stimulate the economy by encouraging consumers to replace appliances that are not energy efficient.

With the Cash for Appliances Rebate Program starting later in certain states, some consumers, will have to wait to buy their appliance choices until that time.

The rebates will not reimburse the full cost of an appliance. A rebate for a refrigerator is $200, and a washing machine will offer a $200 rebate as well. For further information on rebates available, a link is included at the end of this article.

Check online for the Cash for Appliances Rebate Program in your state using the link at the end of this article. Each state has the option of using the dates they choose for this rebate program.

Search online for stores in your area that will participate in the Cash for Appliances Rebate Program. Some stores are offering rebates in the store. This eliminates the need to pay full price and wait for a rebate.

Determine which appliances you will replace with the Cash for Appliances Rebate Program. Appliances replaced must be those that are considered to be energy thieves.

Check your budget. Be sure you will benefit from the Cash for Appliances Rebate Program before you spend what you can't afford. This is always easy to do, and hard to undo.
