Casino theme party invitations - Have fun with the invitations! Consider playing cards, poker chips, or even money as the shape of invitations. You can easily make these by printing an image you like from the Internet and attaching them to cardstock cut to match the size of the invitation.
Dressing for a casino themed party - Flashy, tacky shirts and sweaters are perfect for a casino night party. Think sequins, boas, poker hats, tacky ties with playing cards on them - even tuxedos. Consider funky casino night hats! Attach some wire to a plastic headband and putting poker chips at the end of the wire or glue cards around any existing hat. You can even go all out and dress like a cocktail waitress, cigarette girl, or the queen of hearts!
Casino theme party decorations- Adorn walls, stairs, and even the floors with cards, dollar signs, lights and strobes. Think black, white, red and even green. Cover folding tables with black or green felt. Use a Sharpie to draw what the top of a blackjack or craps table would look like. If you're not sure, find the template online. Use an old cardboard box to paint like dice and place around the house.
Casino theme party food and drink - Martinis, margaritas and beer! A great idea for beverage of any kind would be to attach a playing card to a disposable cup. This way, every guest will know which cup is theirs. As for food, think finger food. It's easier to carry and typically not as messy as it would be if a full meal was served. Mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken, chips, buffalo wings - any appetizer-type food will do. You can even serve fruits such as apples, cherries, and bananas like on the slot machines.
Casino theme party games - You'll want to have a poker and blackjack table. Mock roulettes are easily found in a oy store. You can even make your own with cardboard and construction paper. Bingo is always a fun idea. You can make a mock craps table by putting a barrier around an existing round table.
Remember to set the rules ahead of time so there's no arguing. Write the rules out on a piece of poster board and display them next to each game. And if there is a disagreement, remember "The house always wins!"
