Many of us have heard of Casio Keyboards. They are the amazingly compact and super cool keyboards that can make even the most beginner piano player sound like Mozart - kind of. Well, Casio has come out with a really amazing digital camera that has as many features as their keyboards. The camera that I am writing about is the Casio EXILIM 6.0-MegaPixel Digital Camera - Model: EX-S600BE.

This camera only weighs four ounces, and for its size it creates amazingly breathtaking pictures. This camera is outfitted with 6.0-Megapixel CCD, which captures extremely high-resolution images that can go up to 2816 x 2112 pixels. This camera also has a beautiful zoom feature, which comes with 3x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, and a total of 12x zoom. This camera also comes with a super-large 2.2" digital interface color TFT-LCD monitor, which comes with brightness control, histogram and grid display modes.

Some of the other various features this camera gives its users includes a Quick 1 second start-up time with a shutter release lag time as fast as 0.007 seconds. The antis hake DSP minimizes shake and vibration distortion through higher sensitivity. There is also a great focus option. Which comes with contrast-type auto focus, manual focus, pan focus, macro and infinity modes, as well as nine-point auto focus, which automatically selects the optimal focus point location.

If you are wanting to white balance your camera, than you will have various different modes, six to be exact, to choose from. Some of these modes include manual and auto white balance, flash assist, which provides exposure compensation for areas that are not reached by the flash. If you are wanting to capture a video, than you can do so in various modes. The first mode being MPEG-4 clips at 30 fps (frames-per-second) (640 x 480) or 15 fps (320 x 240) with audio capture and movie stabilizer. There is also a great feature that I haven't seen on very many cameras, and that is the Motion Print option that capture a single frame from a video to create a snapshot. There is also voice recording and still image with voice memo.

Some of the other various features includes playback modes that include slideshow, calendar, which displays the thumbnails of photos taken on a particular day as well as a nine-picture display option. This camera has a USB interface, and is also direct-to-print capable with any PictBridge-enabled printer. The body of this camera is made of stainless-steel, and it also comes with software to help you organize and add special effects to your images.
