The most important and useful feature for me, as for the Casio G-shock GW500A1-V wrist watch, is the time zone display. You can actually set the watch to show you two time zones at the same time. If you are a person who works on regular basis with customers across the globe, there is nothing better than to be able to answer the phone, and greet your customer or your boss with the right, good morning sir, just by looking at your watch. Otherwise, you have no idea of what the time difference is. That feature of the Casio G-shock GW500A1-V wrist watch is even good in the USA itself. There is a difference of hours between one side of the country and the other side, and you have no idea where you are sometimes. The frequent traveler will also find that this feature in the Casio G-shock GW500A1-V wrist watch is extremely useful.
Other useful features of the Casio G-shock GW500A1-V wrist watch include a reliable alarm system and a stop watch. Not that I use the stop watch too much, but the alarm is always useful.
Normally digital watches are more bulky than the ordinary watches and the Casio G-shock GW500A1-V wrist watch is no exception. However, it makes up for its durability, a scratch proof cover and a very comfortable strap. The Casio G-shock GW500A1-V wrist watch is heavier than most watches that I have had, however because of its build and comfort, you can hardly feel the difference. Of course, you can find even bigger watches in the market than the Casio G-shock GW500A1-V wrist watch, however, I am quite happy with the performance and looks of this one. It is a handy watch, the make is good quality, the paint does not come out very fast, and you can always look after it with minimal maintenance. Very reliable watch, indeed.
Also, the Casio G-shock GW500A1-V wrist watch is 100% water proof, which is something I always look for in a watch, because my last watch got badly damaged because I forgot to take it off in the swimming pool. It was not water-resistant. There are some watches that say that they are water-resistant but they are not. That is not the case with the Casio G-shock GW500A1-V wrist watch.
Overall, I maintain that the Casio G-shock GW500A1-V wrist watch has been a very good investment from the point of view of having a nice looking, handy and hardy, good size and comfortable digital watch.
