Cast of 'Jersey Shore' Headed to Miami?

According to TMZ, Miami is one of the American towns that MTV is looking to relocate the cast of 'Jersey Shore' to. So will fans be sad to see one of the most important cast members of 'Jersey Shore', the Shore itself, kicked to the curb and replaced with reality show star Miami? Or is Miami the perfect new location for the 'Jersey Shore' cast?

But fans of thongs and haters of carbs don't get too excited just yet; Miami is just one of the many places around the world that the MTV producers are looking to ship the 'Jersey Shore' crew to. However, Miami seems like a location that the guidos and guidettes would really enjoy, with even more clubs to party the night away at packed with superficially sexy guys and gals that put the 'Jersey Shore' cast's party preparations to shame, although they'd have to forego dance floor fist-pumping for smoother, slick-as-greasy-hair moves.

Miami is already a reality show star in its own right, being the location of VH1 show 'Brooke Knows Best' and E! reality series 'Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami'. On both shows, stars explored relationships with other girls, with Brooke going on a date with a lesbian and Khloe messing with a poor smitten girl's heart. So could Snooki find love with her own sex in the Miami version of 'Jersey Shore' (at least for one episode)? It's an interesting idea that MTV might consider writing into the script. The show could further imitate past Miami reality series by having Sammi get knocked up with Ronnie's baby (accidentally, of course) and having Hulk Hogan constantly meddling with the gang's plans. However, I don't know if all of the cast of 'Jersey Shore' would be wild about moving to Miami.

For one thing, J-WOWW's wow factor would be slightly diminished. I mean, Miami girls are some of the most high maintenance models they make, and J-WOWW's towel T-shirt just can't compete with their beach body floss. And don't even get me started on Sammi and Ronnie (who were together at the time of the 'Jersey Shore' reunion; broke up on TV thanks to a little "Situation"; and then got back together a few hours later). If the two are together at the time the 'Jersey Shore' crew moves to Miami, Sammi is going to have a hell of a time keeping Ronnie from flirting with the flocks of Florida girls that will constantly be swarming around the cameras.

The guys should all have a great time, however, now that their faces are famous. What high-maintenance Miami girl wouldn't want to be seen on TV charming Pauly D or setting the Situation up for heartbreak? I have a feeling, whether they like it or not, if the 'Jersey Shore' crew moved to Miami, they'd pick up quite a few new temporary cast members (no need to bring back Angelina).

So it looks like Miami would be the perfect place for more 'Jersey Shore' drama, but part of the fun of the new season will be seeing what place MTV picks, then we can decide just how much the Shore itself made 'Jersey Shore' the mega hit that it was.
