'Casting Crowns' along with John Waller & 'Leeland' treated fans to a great performance at the Allen Co. Memorial War Coliseum in Fort Wayne Thursday night November 29, 2007.

Hailed as one of the top-billed tours of the season, "The Altar and The Door" Tour kicked off on September 27 in San Antonio,Texas following 'Casting Crowns' highly-anticipated third album release on August 28. 'Casting Crowns' wowed fans with a great performance by both them and their opening acts.

John Waller former front man for the Christian group 'According To John' took the stage at promptly 7:00p.m. with his with his own unique, purposeful and poignant style of music. Waller, named one of 10 "Faces to Watch" by 'Billboard magazine' in 2007 left no doubt in fans minds, to why he earned that honor. Performing three songs from his solo debut album 'The Blessing' Waller kicked off the concert with a crowd pleasing performance.

Five time Dove nominated progressive rock band 'Leeland' was next to take the stage. They brought the audience to the there feet with their single ' carried to the table' based on 2 Samuel 9 in the old Testament.

Casting Crowns performed 19 of their biggest hits including 'If we are the body' "Life Song' and their newest single 'East to West'. Fans were treated not only to a great performance but perfect sounding acoustics. During the song 'Voice of truth' painter/artist Mark Nickels took the stage to paint a very moving picture depicting the message of the song. His beautiful artwork caused fans to scramble for there cameras to capture a picture of his masterpeice. During a concert with songs that speak about some of lives most difficult moments front man Mark Hall keep things light with his own humble sense of humor making jokes about his southern accent and A.D.D. distractions.

The band performed a encore of 'What if his people prayed' but not before each individual band member took time to pray for the audience. A very and moving experience that made it clear that performing, writing and singing songs isn't what 'Casting crowns' is all about- they are about sharing the love and the message of Jesus Christ.
