In addition to doing a basic home inspection, they also are able to do radon testing and termite testing. It is so nice to have a company that can take care of all of that for you. In the moving process, you need all of the help you can get to simplifiy things.
We liked how throrogh Castle was. They looked in every corner, climbed up onto the roof, crawled under tiny spaces. My husband and I loved that they engaged us and our realtors in the process. They pointed out problem areas, presented some cost estimates and talked us through some improvements we could make ourselves. We were able to see the problem areas first hand, and we really liked that.
The other nice thing about this company is that they emailed us a multi page report that we were able to share electronically with our realtors. They report showed us what it would cost to get things repaired. The report was used in our negotiations and we were able to get thousands of dollars back on the home we were purchasing. The home inspection process really benefited us.
The nice thing about the report we got from Castle is that we can use it for many years - making little repairs and watching certain problem areas. It also gives us a price range for repairs so we can tell if a contractor is charging us too much.
The professionalism, the expertise and the customer service of Castle Home Inspections is incrediable. We were so pleased with the home inspection process and felt that it was well worth the small amount of money we paid for the inspection.

We had such a positive home buying experience because we knew what we were getting into thanks to Castle. We were able to use their report to get money back to fix the issues on the home we were purchasing. We've still been using the report to fix and keep an eye on the little problem areas. It really is a valuable document to help you maintain a home.
