Game Background
You find your castle in trouble and need support from your allies. Launch peasants using your catapult to seek help from your neighbors.
Gameplay
As mentioned in the Author Comments found on the game's website, the gameplay is very similar to other launching games like Toss the Turtle and Learn to Fly. Basically, you have a power meter and an angle meter. You must stop the two meters at desirable positions in order to launch the catapult with the best results.
Your goal in Catapult Madness is to throw an individual 50,000 feet in as few throws as possible.
During the game, you will have many opportunities to purchase items from the workshop to help you reach your goal. These helpful items include the following:
-magic
-beans
-bombs
-beer
-mechanic
-glider
At the end of each toss, you will be scored and given money based on distance traveled and other bonus factors. The amount of money you have gained and the total amount of money you currently have will also be displayed.
Catapult Madness also features an online leaderboard where you can submit your final score to see how you compare with other gamers around the world.
If you are able to rescue your castle from trouble, you will unlock an endless mode.
Game Review
If you enjoy tossing/launch games, then you will enjoy Catapult Madness. The gameplay, as mentioned earlier, is very similar to other launch games. The only differences are the obvious ones, such as theme and upgrades. If you enjoy tossing games but are looking for a different story line, then try out Catapult Madness.
Catapult Madness scores a 8/10 for its solid gameplay.
