Where is your heart?
As I stare at my world
All fallen apart....
Where is my life?
I had before this storm?
Where are the pieces?
That once made my home.
There is a depression
That has left me battered and torn
Nothing is the same
Not any more.
As I search for something
To fill this empty hole
Try to rebuild my life
Without knowing the mold.
Where is my life?
I had before this storm?
Where are the pieces?
That once made my home.
I have learned from this....
I watched it tear us apart
Where is the angel?
That guards my heart?
But I'm tired:... Ya' know???
Tired of giving in....
I just need some help every now and again...
Try to catch my breath
Try to stop these tears
Help me as I must
Face my fears.
The fear of a failure
Of loosing in the end...
It's NEVER gonna beat me
Let a new round begin.
There's gonna be a FIGHT
I'm not backing down
There is no way life
Can make me wear a frown...
Got my second wind
I'm ready to go
Got a long way to get there
Put the petal to the floor.
I am gonna take back my life
One day at a time
Make it dependable
Like Corona and lime.
Dependable; yeah.
Straight as a line.
Break down this elephant
And just go to town
On the task that is b4 me
That can't keep me down.
Cause I am a fighter, and I wont take any MORE...
