Categories of Nigerian Men

There are different categories of men in Nigeria, and single ladies have to be very careful when deciding to date any of these men.

A Nigerian man falls under any one of these categories:

The Liar

The liar is the worst kind of man any woman can fall for. The liar is very smooth and is usually handsome too; he would lie about his marital status, his finances and his family background etc all in a bid to get a woman to sleep with him. As soon as he gets what he wants from the woman (sex), he will disappear without even saying good bye and move on to his next victim.

Many women have fallen for this category of Nigerian men; they are sometimes very easy to spot because they come across as arrogant, they talk too much and if you ask them the same question two days later, they will give you a different answer.

The Kiss and Tell Guy

The kiss and tell guys are common with Nigerian college students. They will tell anyone who cares to listen about how they slept with a woman and blah blah blah. These guys are very pathetic and would go to any lengths to woo a woman and as soon as they sleep with her, they go around telling their friends.

These guys are usually identified by closely listening to the contents of their speech; they talk about how one person slept with one person and so on.

The Mama's Boy

These men are avoided by all women in their right senses! This category of men cannot make the simplest decisions without consulting their mothers first. They consult their mothers before they purchase a car, rent an apartment, buy stocks etc. They wouldn't dare marry a girl their mother objects to.

The mama's boy is known by constantly referring to his mother during every conversation. Some women don't mind dating a mama's boy, in fact, they find it quite adorable.

The Mooch

The mooch is a guy who constantly "borrows" money from women in order to do one or two things, and he promises to pay back in no time but knows deep in his heart that he would never pay the woman back. This category of men are also mooches/liars, they would lie about anything in order to induce pity on the part of the woman. They are usually unemployed men who look for women to support them.

They are very easy to spot; they'll ask you for money on the second week of knowing them.

The Good Guy

The men who fall under this group are very hard to find but when a woman is lucky enough to find one of them, she never regrets it. This man is kind, generous, God fearing and most importantly, he is gainfully employed or owns his own business! He treats his woman with the utmost respect and worships the floor she walks on.

This kind of man is mostly found in churches, libraries or any decent hangouts.
