Catherine Zeta-Jones Poses Nude at Age Forty for Allure Magazine
Catherine Zeta-Jones married actor, Michael Douglas in 2000. The couple received quite a bit of scrutiny for their May / December romance. Michael Douglas is twenty-five years older than Catherine Zeta-Jones. The two oddly share the same September 25 birthday. The famous couple are parents to two sons; Dylan Michael who was born in 2000 and Carys Zeta who was born in 2003.
Which Other Over Forty Actresses Have "Taken It All Off"?
There are quite a few to name. Farrah Fawcett, who sadly passed away in 2009, caused a stir in 1995 when at the age of forty-eight she posed nude for Playboy. She followed that up by posing again in 1997 at the age of fifty. According to an article on Frisky.com actresses Sandra Bullock, Marisa Tomei and Mary Louise Parker were each over forty years old when they "took it all off" for the camera for different movie roles. Sandra Bullock showed more than a little skin for her role in the movie, "The Proposal" and Marisa Tomei had a nude scene in the movie, "The Wrestler".
In my opinion the fact that Catherine Zeta-Jones is posing nude for a magazine shoot for the first time, is more newsworthy than the fact that she is over forty years old. For those who haven't heard it was announced several years ago that forty is the new thirty. As a forty year old woman myself this has become my daily mantra.

Post a Commentgood reporting. I just don't understand all the nudity these days though. Sure many 40 year olds look like 20 year olds these days, but at this age aren't we past the need to prove it with nude photos?
