Another possible cause of osteoarthritis is very cold weather. People who work in places where they experience a sudden change in the temperature are the ones who are prone to osteoarthritis. The finger joints are affected if you suddenly place your very cold fingers in warm water and the sudden change in condition could lead to finger osteoarthritis.

There is no specific treatment but you can certainly take the right nutrition early on in life to prevent osteoarthritis when you grow old. As mentioned above obese people should lose weight and if you are very young, fit and healthy you can consider knee replacement therapy.
