Caylee Marie Anthony's public memorial service to be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m

A public memorial for Caylee Marie Anthony will be held Tuesday February 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Orlando located at 3000 S. John Young Parkway southwest of downtown Orlando, Florida. The memorial is expected to be about 2 hours long.

The church seats 5,000 people and is wired for live video feed for television stations. The church is expecting to reach the 5,000 seat capacity.

Several locals in the area are planning on attending the service to say goodbye to a child that has been on their minds and in their hearts for months. As a local resident myself- not living far from the Anthony's, I will not be attending. I cannot bear to go to a memorial for a child. I've said my prayers and good-byes to Caylee.

Caylee Marie Anthony's memorial is open to the public and seating begins at 9:00AM. Anyone attending the service will have to pass through a metal detector before entering the building. No purses, backpacks or bags will be allowed inside the building. Also not permitted are cell phones and still or video cameras.

The Anthony family is also reserving the right to refuse certain people from attending the memorial. The grandparents of the murdered child, George and Cindy Anthony plan to attend.

First Baptist Church of Orlando is donating their church and staff members for the memorial. The extra costs for security will be covered by anonymous donations.

Extra security measures are being taken as thousands are expected to show up for Caylee's memorial service. The Anthony family has had problems with threats and protesters in the past.

Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony- who is in the Orange County jail charged with 1st degree murder of the child- will not be attending the service but will be able to watch the televised memorial service from jail.

Caylee was last seen by her mother Casey in June but not reported missing until July by her grandmother Cindy Anthony- 31 days after her disappearance. Caylee was 2 years old at the time of her disappearance.

Casey claims that Caylee was kidnapped by her nanny Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez but no such person fitting Casey description exists.

Caylee's skeletal remains were discovered on December 11th less than a ½ mile from where she lived. Duct tape that had a heart shaped outline of a sticker was found around the child's skull.

The following is the plan of coverage for the memorial from local stations.

WESH-Channel 2: Coverage starts at 10 a.m. on their station and can be viewed on their website at WESH.com.

WKMG-Channel 6: Coverage starts at 9 a.m. on their station and can be viewed on their website at ClickOrlando.com.

WFTV-Channel 9: Coverage starts at 9:00 a.m. on their station and can be viewed on their website at WFTV.com.

WOFL-Channel 35: Coverage starts at 10 a.m. on their station and can be viewed on their website at MyFoxOrlando.com.

Central Florida News 13: The cable channel plans to cover the public event in its entirety.

Nice article, and such a sad, sad situation. I just hope that Casey's reaction is NOT covered in the news. Don't want to hear about any crocodile tears from that sociopath.

My son served in the Air Force. I've heard of them. I really hope they don't show up. That would be beyond disgusting and heartbreaking. I can't stand that group!

Watch out, I read that the hate-spewing cult "westboro Church" will be there picketing and saying "God Hates Fags" true stuff, if you've never heard of them.

So sad and senseless. I'm glad she'll finally be laid to rest.
