Cayman Airways Review

Have international airways always been your preference? I was once a regular traveler on international carriers. Almost five years ago, I had an important meeting in Miami, and the trip got delayed for 7 hours. Luckily, the Cayman Airways, a small airlines service owned by the Caymans Island Government offered all the passengers of the delayed flight the option to travel with them, so they could reach the destination on time. I agreed, and remember it to date as the best experience of my life!

The Cayman Airways Ltd. has been a carrier of the Caymanian Islands national flag for the last 35 years. It is an especial delight to fly with them within their own district area. The Cayman Airways operate 3 B737 200's to 10 destinations from the hub in Grand Canyon, including Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Houston, Havana, Cayman Brac, Montego bay, Boston, Chicago and Kingston. Founded in 1968, the Cayman Airways has come a long way, and satisfies the safety regulations of the three separate aviation entities - the CAA, (United Kingdom), the FAA (United States), and the CAA (Cayman Islands), which is a big accomplishment.

Once in flight, I saw how tidy they had the place, as if just out of production. Even on a short flight of 70 minutes, we were served a proper meal, and that too had a delicious taste that left us enchanted! The attendants were local Caymanian residents, and were true to their island's name: hospitable. I had a chat with one of the attendants about Caymanian issues, which showed how firmly they believed in customer relations. I felt safe and relaxed, and I knew that no matter what the size the company maybe, in the end what takes away the trophy, is being earnest to where you work. The Cayman Airways employed locals, because they knew the place well, and would be able to act as travel guides as well, describing the places from above. The Cayman Airways is an equal opportunity employer for its origin, and even the pilots were local residents.

Not only was this flight a whole new experience like traveling with relatives, but the Cayman Airways was also cheap. It was almost $80, a lot less than that of which I would have had to pay for a the international carrier.

I'm a regular traveler now, and not once has the Cayman Airways been late on a takeoff or landing - later than the reported time. The Cayman Airways is definitely a must!
