CBS Hit Series the Unit Returns for 4th Season This Fall

CBS has announced The Unit will be renewed for the 2008/2009 season. The Unit is CBS's hit drama series starring Dennis Haysbert (Jonas Blane), Scott Foley (Bob Brown), Robert Patrick (Colonel Tom Ryan), Regina Taylor (Molly Blane), Max Martini (Max Gerhardt), Abby Brammell (Tiffy Gerhardt), and Audrey Marie Anderson (Kim Brown). It is a story about the men of a special, elite military unit whose missions are highly classified and who answer only to the President of the United States, and their wives.

The Unit's storyline is a unique blend of the stories of the men's missions and the exploits of their wives at home. The drama includes romance, infidelity, courage, honor, struggles of conscience, wit, and humor. The wives lead full and eventful lives, while dealing with the fact that they often don't know where their husbands are, when they will return, or even if they will return. The men must focus only on their mission and not allow thoughts of their families to distract them. The battle scenes are thrilling and captivating.

In Fall 2008 you will have to look for The Unit on a different day. The Unit has been moved from Tuesdays to Sundays, and will air after Cold Case on Sunday evenings at 10pm (EST/PST), 9pm (CST). The change in time slot is due to a new drama series starting this fall, and may be a message to The Unit fans to let CBS know how much you love the show and want it to continue.
