There are 40 kids and these kids decide, during each town hall meeting, if they want to go home or not. Jimmy, a little 8 year old boy, with shaggy hair, decided to go home because he thought he was too young to be doing this. He was sad for a lot of the show, and it was horrible to see it, and he seemed so relieved to be able to go. There are a lot of interesting kids on this show, and I am sure a lot of them will leave. The kids who stay will probably be better for it, and the kids who leave it is sad that they were put in this situation.
I feel that Sophia is currently one of the more interesting characters. She was the winner of the golden star worth 20,000 dollars and she was actively involved throughout the show. Sophia not only helped cook and clean, but she danced for nickels in the street in order to buy a bicycle for three dollars. She helped cook from the get go and at the town meeting she even brought up the fact that the yellow team did not do dishes. She will prove to be a major part of this show.
Taylor is a 10 year old girl that is on the council of kids in charge. She was not sure if she was going to stay. She was sad and wasn't sure if she was going to be able to do it, but she decided to give it a chance and stay. I forsee her having problems because she is in charge, and she mentioned in the show that she is a princess. I think she will learn a lot, and struggle if she stays on the show.
Greg is a 15 year old that has been acting like a teenage boy does. He is one of the biggest and oldest kids on the show. I think he has it in him to be a good influence. When Jimmy missed his family Greg offered to be there for him, and I think that he will end up being one of the strongest team members on this show.
All of these kids are incredibly brave for attempting to live without any supervision, and guidance, and I think they can make this town work. I think these kids are all capable of getting through this and learning from each other. I think there choice of seven outhouses, and yes they are real out houses, instead of a television proves that these kids are a little smarter than everyone thought.
