Rumor has it that the CBS show "The Talk" is getting a cast shake up. Sharon Osbourne is taking time off for season 2 to spend time with her famous hubby, Ozzy Osbourne, now speculation has began about the remaining co-hosts.
Currently the hosts and co-hosts are Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Leah Remini, and my least favorite Holly Robinson Peete. (Sorry, I watched her claws come out of Celebrity Apprentice, and well I may never like her. Just my opinion.) However, I don't know her so life goes on.
Now rumors are circulating that Leah Remini and Holly may not be a part of season 2. Leah is my second favorite, next to Sara, and she is delightful on the show. She is painfully honest, will fight for kids rights, and is a mother, actress, and great co-host. Not to say that Leah couldn't tone it down a little. I mean she is more opionated than Sharon. And fans may like Leah less than Mrs. Osbourne.
Holly tells you herself that she doesn't know what season 2 holds for them, see it here:

The New York Post has other ideas about what's going down with "The Talk" and they point their finger at Julie Chen. Word is that CBS President (and husband to Chen) Les Moonves, instructed the ladies not to talk about the Casey Anthony case without Chen. The article states that he and Chen were on a break in the South of France and the ladies went on and spoke of the tabboo topic. Moonves told them that Chen is the only journalist with credentials on the show.
The good news for fans is that co-host Sara Gilbert is slated to return.
A CBS spokesperson told The New York Post that "The Talk" finished with a strong first season and the producers are working on a "creative game plan for season 2, which launches on September 6."

Post a Commentthe Talk WAS my wife's favorite show, got it , WAS, and even I enjoyed it with the original cast. Leah Remini and Holly Pete, Mrs. O, Chen, and Sara had a great interaction with each other, too bad CBS didn't leave it alone. BIG MISTAKE ! Much more interesting shows to watch now than ' The Mess'.
I live in North Carolina and to tell you I think you made a big big mistake to change the line up at this point. Sara is dull. Mrs C can't hold it down alone. Mrs O should stay. The other two going bad judgement on your part. I flip when it comes on to something interesting now If you go another year I will be surprised. I really like Julie on big brother , this show not so much.Listen to the public.
I was disappointed that CBS didn't have the decency to let us know what happened to Leah and Holly. If they come back I'll start watching again. Too bad because it was a great show along with Julie, Sharon and Sara.
The Talk was so fun to watch last season, but now it is so boring. I missed a few of the new season shows and couldn't figure out where Leah and Sharon were(well Holly too I quess) just fiqured they had a few days off like they sometimes do. So after being bored with the show for several days I thought I would see if I could find out what the deal was online and this is not what I wanted to find out.
My faves are Leah, Sarah and Sharon so I doubt that I will watch anymore. Just isn't the same. I hope the ratings go way down and then maybe they will bring them back at least Leah anyway.
They had such a good thing going and they ruined it. However I do love sweet little sarah.
I've only watched The Talk for a few months, but find it very, very funny. Since CBS has chosen to let Holly Robinson Peete & Leah Remini go, I find the show extremely boring. With the original cast, it beat The View in every aspect. Who wants to see Kris Jenner with her new face lift or hear her chatter about her girls. Bring back two of my favorite stars & then I'll come back too.
Mrs O ought to go. She is never there 1/2 the time always on other projects anyways. WHy Leah & Holly?? They are so funny and always there. I don't like the way they never mentioned this on the air since they came back someone should speak about it. It is called The TALK practice what you preach. I am not sure I will continue to watch I don't even know the black lady's work and Molly Shannon is better one on one not in a group. Re visit this Think it is a mistake...

Your newer article, concerning the updates of the show, won't let me comment...so I'll say it here. ;) Needless to say with the show's changes, I won't be watching.
