CD Review "The Nashville Sessions" by Changing Horses

CD Review:

Title: "The Nashville Sessions"

Artist: Changing Horses

Changing Horses is an up and coming quirky pop, folk, Indy rock male and female duo based out of England. "The Nashville Sessions" is their debut worldwide CD release.

Their sound is very unique up beat music with some very deep and well written, arranged, and catchy lyrics. Record with producer Chris Donohue (Elvis Costello, Emmylou Harris, Ben Folds) in Nashville, Tennessee over a almost a years time "The Nashville Sessions" is a fresh sound for fans of bands like The White Stripes, David Byrne/The Talking Heads, Kate Bush.

Over the course of the 6 songs offered on "The Nashville Sessions" Richard Birtill and Francesca Cullen seem to draw you in to their music with its catchy acoustic hooks, vocals and witty catchy lyrics. Their music is well written, performed and produced, it's layered with acoustic and electric guitars, drums and other percussions, even a touch of steel guitar, cello and such on some tracks.

The opening song "Cut All Strings" is just up beat, and destined for a radio and/or soundtrack hit.

Changing Horses CD "The Nashville Sessions" is definitely a fresh sound that I predict will be gaining impressive momentum here in the United States over the next few months via college and internet radio.
