"Give It a Try" is a joke about Carrington's friend telling him that he should give being gay a try. In "Tribute to Barry Martin," Rodney discusses his friend Barry and the things that they while they were on the road. They would make bets and the loser had to eat things that people should be eating. Barry Martin passed away a few years ago. "Angel Friend" is a song that Rodney Carrington wrote in memory of Barry.

With "Massage" Rodney tries to get the masseuse to massage the right spot. "Shopping on Rodeo Street" is Rodney's experiences when he went shopping with his wife. In "The Apple" Rodney thinks he could have handled living in the Garden of Eden with the rule of not eating the apple. He asks God of that is the only rule that he has to follow.

This CD contains a parental advisory sticker for explicit content. The songs on the King of the Mountains CD are not as funny as he some of his previous songs. They are still pretty good though. All of the stand-up tracks are hilarious. If you are a fan of Rodney Carrington then this CD is a must. For people that have not listened to Carrington yet, he is a very funny comedian.
