Cedar Point Announces Planet Snoopy

Sandusky, Ohio Amusement Park

Janice Villa
One of the top rated amusement parks is located in my state of Ohio. Cedar Point Amusement Park is located in Sandusky, Ohio. This year there are going to be some exciting new improvements that the children and teenagers will enjoy. Just a part of the $5.2 million budget of improvements will be spent on a new children's area called Planet Snoopy and an extreme sports show to be located at the former dolphin tank site.

Planet Snoopy will be located in the former Berenstain Bears Country Site. It will feature seven rides that were preveiously located at the Geauga Lake park near Cleveland, Ohio. The new children's area will feature games, a family center with changing areas and a private area where new mothers can feed their babies. A new Peanuts restaurant is going to be built featuring a children's only menu.

The All Wheels Extreme show will be located in the former dolphin tank area. It will feature stunt bikers, skateboarders and inline skaters who will be performing awesome flips and other stunts.

The Sandcastle Suites hotel located at One Cedar Point Drive, Sandusky, OH 44870-5259, will also undergo some changes over the next two years. The renovation is going to cost $3 million.
