Cedar Rapids Municipal Golf Courses
Cedar Rapids has four municipal golf courses. Each golf course varies in their level of difficulty. All of the Cedar Rapids Municipal Golf Courses feature a Pro Shop and some of the most enjoyable golf you'll find in Eastern Iowa.
Twin Pines Golf Course is a great course for beginners and moderate players. Easy to walk, with relatively flat terrain, this par 72, 18-hole course features water hazards on the front nine and tree lined holes on the back. Conveniently located just on the North East side of town, Twin Pines Golf Course is a great course to play after work or on the weekends.
Gardner Memorial Golf Course is an 18-hole championship golf course located just outside of Cedar Rapids in Marion off of Highway 13. A challenging course with hazards, various hole lengths and plenty of trees make this course a challenge for players at any level.
Jones Park Golf Course is located on the South West side of Cedar Rapids features 18-holes of golfing pleasure. Adjacent to Jones Park, this course offers something for everyone. With 20 sand bunkers and 11 ponds this scenic, tree-lined course is a pleasure to play.
Ellis Park Golf Course is one of Cedar Rapids' treasures and provides some of the most challenging play. With elevated greens, plentiful trees and wonderful scenery, Ellis Park Golf Course will challenge golfers to use every club in their arsenal.
Cedar Rapids Public Golf Courses
In addition to the municipal golf course, Cedar Rapids also is home to several public golf courses. The Airport National Golf Course provides plenty of challenge with hills, trees and breathtaking views of the rural Eastern Iowa countryside. There is an 18-hole miniature golf course and driving range on site as well.
Another Cedar Rapids golfing treasure is St. Andrews Golf Course located on the North East side of town. This 18-hole course offers a variety of challenging play for golfers of every skill level. Hunter's Ridge Golf Course is near Cedar Rapids in Marion and features ponds, tall grasses, trees and bunkers to provide an enjoyable round of golf.
Cedar Rapids Private Golf Courses
Cedar Rapids also has two private courses including the Cedar Rapids Country Club and Elmcrest Golf and Country Club. Elmcrest Golf and Country Club is where PGA Tour Professional, Zach Johnson began playing golf at the age of 10.
Golfers looking to take their game to the next level, can find plenty of challenge and variety with the broad range of golf courses located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
