I want to see the ceiling come crashing down
Even if it comes right down on my head
It doesn't matter if I die
'Cause living under the plaster sky
I feel as if I'm already dead
Even if it comes right down on my head
It doesn't matter if I die
'Cause living under the plaster sky
I feel as if I'm already dead
So here now with frozen eyes and burning hands
I grip the hammer hard and swing it wide
At first I feel my actions rash
Then laughter rings out with the next crash
I know nothing more will stay inside
Time and again, hammer rises, plaster falls
The broken sky rains white death over me
But with each killing strike I give
I remind myself that I still live
For the true sky I hope soon to see
And as the plaster ceiling comes crashing in
A million points of light shine down on me
And I can't even feel the cold
Staring at glittering stars of gold
For the very first time I feel free
