Celebrate 4th of July at Walt Disney World

Each year, individuals and families all across the United States of America come together on one special day to help celebrate our Freedom and our Patriotism, with Independence Day. When many people think of the 4th of July they think of Fireworks, Hotdogs and Attractions/Rides, and what better place to celebrate and include all three elements than at Walt Disney World.
For 2011, a variety of events are planned at each of the four Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks and Downtown Disney, all exclusive to celebrating our Independence with a magical touch. The events include patriotic parades, live music and amazing fireworks shows. Walt Disney World really likes to impress guests to our country by showing just how we can party on the 4th of July!

Magic Kingdom 4th of July Events
Disney's Magic Kingdom is planning an amazing 4th of July firework display that will light up the sky, "Concert in the Sky". The show will be featuring a stunning display of aerial fireworks, pyrotechnic effects and music. The show is set to be a tribute to the United States with traditions and the people being kept in mind. The show is set to start at 9 p.m. and it is highly suggested that if you want to see this firework display from inside the Magic Kingdom that you get there early in the day. Many years the park will be at capacity by mid-day. The firework display will be able to be seen from various beaches throughout Walt Disney World Resorts and from several of the Walt Disney World Resort Restaurants.

The American Adventure pavilion at Epcot loves to show off some American talent with added entertainment every 4th of July. The pavilion is said to be having some amazing music from its musical group, Voice of Liberty and visits from historic characters who will share their American stories! At the end of the night, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth will have an added 4th of July finale that is sure to leave you feeling like a proud American.

Disney's Hollywood Studios 4th of July Events
Like Disney's Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios will be presenting an amazing 4th of July firework display at 9 p.m., that will feature skyrockets and patriotic music. There will also be a "Fantasmic!" show, which also features fireworks, music, Disney Characters and is an all-around amazing show, which will be starting at 10:30 on July 4th.

Downtown Disney 4th of July Events
Downtown Disney will be hosting music and entertainment in the old Pleasure Island Area and will be presenting an amazing fireworks display at 10:30 p.m. for all who are not at one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
