    I would hope that all people in the United States celebrate the 4th of July because they are proud of their country and this is one way of showing that pride!!!!

    I'm always a little confused about why Blacks celebrate the 4th of July when we were still enslaved. I don't think if more of us knew we were enslaved during that time, we would celebrate "our independence."
