For anyone with XM Satellite Radio:

Public radio stations around the nation will air music from women artists the world over "with a special emphasis on ambient and world fusion music".

After the 8th of March, 2007:

While the 8th of March is the official IWD, the events do not end with the dawn of a new day. There are number of events planned for the days immediately following Thursday, as March has been deemed Women's History month.

Be sure to watch for events in your community. If you can't find any already set up, that would provide the perfect opportunity for the creation of a new tradition.
