In the United States, the New Years holiday is on January first, but Americans begin celebrating on December 31. There are many different ways to celebrate this holiday; some people have parties where they watch the television to see the ball drop in Times Square, some people have masquerade balls, where guests dress up in costumes and cover their faces with masks. When the clock strikes midnight there are often fireworks, noise makers, screaming and yelling, a toast and traditionally a special kiss.

St. Charles, Missouri knows how to celebrate the New Year in style. Many local restaurants offer festivities for the evening. There are community events that are held, as well as many business establishments host big gala's and other parties. New Year's Eve with Kevin Bozeman
The Comedy Forum, located in St. Peters at 4141 North Cloverleaf Drive, is hosting a special countdown to midnight show with party favors and free champagne. Make reservations with The Heart of St. Charles Banquet Center located at 1410 South Fifth Street at I-70 in St. Charles. Doors open at 6:00pm and close long after midnight. Blues City Band New Years Eve

Broadway Nites New Years Eve Celebration
At the Foundry Art Centre, celebrate New Years Eve with some amazing performances and productions. This is the debut of Broadway Nites and they will be ringing in the New Year with Larry Alexander. Complimentary Champagne will be served on arrival. There will be dancing and cocktails starting at 7:00pm with a cash bar available. Dinner is served at 8:00pm and the performance begins at 9:00pm.
