On Sunday November 5, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be performed at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center in Cedar Falls at 3 & 7pm. This is a great musical with lots of fun song and dance numbers which will not only entertain, but also educate. The story line involves a young Egyptian boy who was sold into slavery by his brothers because he was favored by his father. Joseph was given a multi colored coat from his father and his brothers just couldn't handle it. Joseph eventually became a king and showed his brothers mercy when there was a famine in the land. The story line is loosely based on the Biblical account found in the book of Genesis. The lyrics and music will have you singing and dancing your way out of the performance. This play also involves a pre-show party where kids can create a special holiday gift for mom and dad beginning at 12:30 and 6:15pm in the lobby. Youth tickets can be purchased for $1 for up to children with the purchase of an adult ticket. For more information on this performance please contact 319 273 SHOW or 877 549 SHOW.
