This Grauman theater is right in the heart of the Hollywood madness so get there early to find parking. This party is a 21+ event and runs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday, December 31. Tickets are sold on clubzone.com and gridlockla.com.

Those looking to try something other than the standard club or bar party can rent their own private billiard room at Spot 5750. The space is huge and boasts over 25,000 square feet. It is decked out with modern booths, over 50 HD TVs and a full bar. You can also grab a bite to eat there. They have an extensive menu featuring starters, salads, burgers, sandwiches and desserts.

The dress code for Spot 5750 is presentable attire. They will be open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. on December 31. A one table room holds 20 people and you can reserves two tables for 40 people. Call for New Year's Eve rates.

Universal City Walk is hosting an outdoor party that is free to the public from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. There will be DJs, live music and fireworks. While this event is free, parking isn't. City Walk parking is $10 and $22 for valet. Alternatively, you can take the Metro Red Line to the Universal City stop and walk up the hill. This may not be a great option if you're wearing heels.

Edison

The Edison is an industrial lounge situated in Downtown Los Angeles. Its basement bar serves hand crafted cocktails and has old movies projected onto its walls. One of the bar's many highlights is their absinthe fairies who walk around with a cart full of shots. The Edison will have the Yard Dogs Road Show on Friday, December 31 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $75 and can be bought on their website. Dress to impress at this glamorous event. Don't forget to bring cash for the Downtown parking lots.
