Celebration City

Remember the days when amusement parks were small and family-oriented? Places that offered rides dating to the turn of the century and guests found boardwalk attractions? That same type of family fun can be found at Branson, Missouri's newest theme park: Celebration City. The park opens daily at 3pm and closes at 10pm with a burst of fireworks and a fantastic light show. Styled after the original trolley parks of the early 20th century, Celebration City features its' own Electric Boardwalk.

Guests enter on Celebration Street. Relive yesteryear's Main Street with quaint shops, a quiet pace, and fun for all ages. The park is located just off Highway 76, Country Music Boulevard, and offers vintage rides along with modern day fun. More than thirty rides are available. Little Tyke rides include a carousel, The Flying Carpet, Flying Aces, a Paris Wheel, Free Fall and more. Rides for Big Kids include an Electric Star Wheel, vintage Shoot-D-Chute, Slick's Slightly Used Bumper Cars, Tilt-a-Whirl, all wooden roller coaster Ozark Wildcat, go-karts, and many others.

The Electric Boardwalk comes to life in glittering color after dark and the midway offers old-fashioned fun for everyone. Midway barkers call out challenges and the fun is included in one admission price. Find a little peace and quiet in the new Circus Gardens. Watch the foliage spring to life with surprising creations and when your family is hungry, there are several on-site restaurants, each with nostalgic flair.

Relive the age of the classic American diner at the Last Chance Diner that features all-American hamburgers and blue plate specials. Try a hand-tossed pizza at Mickey's or feel the lure of America's highway at Kick's 66 BBQ Grill. Sweet tooths can indulge at Kate's Cookies 'N Cream. Look for other food vendors throughout the park.

Stay all evening to see Nightfire, an all-new spectacular show. Sponsored by Kodak, the Nightfire show features huge water screens featuring patriotic scenes from our great nation, fantastic fireworks, 100 foot tall fire towers, and music from every generation. Nightfire is billed as "igniting the human spirit" and it's a show that no visitor will forget.
