Celebrities and Greed

have a theory about greed. It started out in my head as applying to the music realm, but with a little more thought, I realized it spilled into every aspect of life. My theory is, money makes greed. If you think about it, sure artists and actors love what they do, but when they start making all that money, it produces an urge to want to have it. That urge turns into a greed, and that greed and that passion for the money, produces, say for instance, a hit song, or a hit movie, to get that money. Rappers will stop at nothing now a days. Michael Vick, and any other star, sports athlete, anyone making anything over 100,000 a year and still getting into trouble over some stupid, dog fighting, drug selling, weapons selling, only to get more money. I am so sick of hearing about rappers getting into trouble, selling this selling that. Why do you have to sell anything! Make that clean rap game money, stay inside, be with girls stay out of trouble. Stop being greedy, I'm sure you have enough money. You might not be able to put that BMW 745 ride on 78 inch rims with 24143246 TVs (and thats just in the front), but you can have that house, that car, that boat, have that luxury, without jail time, and ridiculous lawyers fees. Worshiping money is evil, need it don't want it. Michael Vick is a prime and recent example of my theory. Let me tell you his story, and tell me if I'm onto something constructive criticism is welcome. (email:musicismylife73@aol.com ) Mr. Vick is a young, talented, handsome, well paid, pro football player. He even masked as a son to the owner of his team, the Atlanta Falcons. This guy had it all. Tell me why he is now facing serious charges of, animal abuse, and gambling on dog fights. This idiot had the audacity, to hold these dogs, in a torture camp, he ran from his own backyard (!) and torture them to get them ready for fights, that he would then bet on. Tell me why he would do this. Money, money, money. Money enabled him to get the best dogs, with the best torture tactics. Mr. Vick, you need a hobby, try knitting, maybe windsurfing. why do something, that you know will get you in serious trouble, when you know, you are in a media, and professional spotlight. I'm disgusted every time I hear about someone with money, getting busted just to make more money, to fund their greedy habits. Guess they gotta have their 250,000 Ferrari's. Even people not in the biz are money hungry. My boss, will short her store every product on the shelf, and have upset customer's, and employees, only to save money, to look good in numbers and get her 1000$ dollar bonus every period. She even cuts some employees hours, to the point where when its busy, we struggle because we are short 2 to 3 people. That is no way to go about running a business. Shes greedy so she does not care who its affecting, all she knows is shes getting that bonus check just in time for Christmas.
