Four hours under the hot, sizzling lights of the MTV Video Music Awards, a crowded auditorium and thousands of flashing lights from photographers wanting a shot welcomed Lady Gaga when she stepped out wearing a one-of-a-kind designer dress made entirely of Brazilian beef. Call it edgy, fashionable or risky but the girl has an eye for creativity and she knows how to get attention, but what did fellow guests of the VMAs think of Lady Gaga's meat dress?

Mary J. Blige, a long-time R&B songbird and woman of fashion stated after the award show, "Courageous, simply courageous. She's a courageous chick," she laughed nervously upon being asked about her opinion of the designer meat dress.

Actress Kristin Chenoweth, guest star of the hit show "Glee," stated: "I thought it was incredible," she added, "Actually it was an incredible design. I wouldn't be caught dead in it, but go girl!"

Aside from fellow singers and other celebrities, record producer Sean Garret sat directly behind Gaga. His opinions on the dress created by Franc Fernandez were pretty simple. "I thought it was the best smelling meat I've ever smelled," he stated.

Not everybody had something positive to say about the dress, however, and Kelly Cutrone was one of those people. The star of "The City," and outspoken human rights activist stated, "I personally think it's not a good idea when people are starving in the world...One person's dress is another person's dinner." The actress also speculated that she wouldn't have wanted to be one of the people sitting next to Lady Gaga under the burning, hot lights of the award ceremony, eluding to the popular belief that the dress made of raw meat had an odor to it.

Talk show host, Wendy Williams, had her own jokes to make about the dress and Lady Gaga's upcoming perfume line. "It will probably smell like A1 steak sauce," she chided.
