Celebrities Turning 30 in 2012

Whether you approach it with grace or dread, leaving your twenties behind and turning the big 3-0 is a milestone birthday everyone has to face. It's impressive when a child star is able to maintain their charisma and status quo as they enter adulthood - the pressure of being in the limelight at a young age makes it difficult to transition into adult roles. There are also plenty of celebrities who didn't get their big break until they reached adulthood, so they may have had a little reprieve from the pressure, but they may feel just as blasé about getting older.

Anne Hathaway
The new "Catwoman" will turn 30 on November 12, and will have much more to plan this year aside from her birthday as she now has a wedding to plan! What better way for a former child star to enter into adulthood following an engagement, and having a full line of movie credits under her belt? She and her long time boyfriend got engaged last fall but they have yet to reveal when or where the wedding will take place.

Mark Salling
Well known for his teenage role as "Puck" on the hit TV series, 'Glee', this multi-talented star is actually going to be 30 this year! Salling may move on the teenager he plays on TV as the show's the main characters will be graduating this year. Nothing has been confirmed as to what cast members will return in season 4, but if they do, they would possibly play mentors for High School students. Salling is celebrating his birthday on August 17.

Jessica Biel
During the first week of January, the internet was buzzing with word that Justin Timberlake had proposed to his long time actress girlfriend, Jessica Biel. US Weekly later confirmed that she accepted his proposal while they were on a holiday vacation together in Jackson, Wyoming. With Justin's birthday coming up at the end of January, and hers following so soon (on March 3), the couple will surely have time to make plans for a wedding afterward.

Anna Paquin
This former child star won her first Oscar at the tender age of 10 for her performance in the movie, 'The Piano'. Since then, Paquin has kept a steady career, including playing the part of "Rogue" in the 'X-Men' trilogy and landing the lead role of "Sookie Stackhouse" in the HBO hit series, 'True Blood'. Her birthday will be celebrated on July 24.

Anna Camp
Paquin isn't the only 'True Blood' cast member on the list of celebrities turning 30 this year. This blond bombshell who played the role of vampire-hating "Sarah Newlin" in season two, will also turn the big 3-0 on September 27. Camp is a TV show veteran, having made guest appearances in the 'Good Wife', 'Mad Men' and 'The Office'. She recently filmed a pilot for a new series titled 'House of Lies', which premiered on January 8th.
