Celebrity Boot Fashion

This fall season the world of fashion has seen an interesting increase in the wearing of one particular style of footwear-boots. Ranging from tall black leather boots to bright and cheerful rubber galoshes, to furry "Eskimo style" boots, the styles of boots are almost as numerous as the range of outfits that they can be worn with. Other boots that are emerging this autumn season are crosses between two older boot styles, such as mixes between cowboy boots and "biker boots." The look of such boots only adds to their versatility and thus the number of outfits that they can be matched with. For anyone who is questioning this trend of boots this year, here is a list of different styles, along with the celebrities who are strutting them.

Rain boots: Worn by none other than Kate Moss, these shoes which have always been a classic, are the perfect addition to any casual outfit for weathering the surprise showers this time of the year. Ranging from the typical yellow rain boots to other brightly colored patterns to match just about any female's personality, rain boots can be both practical and fashionably fun. With the advent of the "skinny jeans" fashion, rain boots are even easier than ever to employ, as the ends of jeans fit smoothly into these high-topped boots."Ugg" boots: These boots came back into style a few years ago, and they simply have not left. Keeping these boots in style is model Bridgetta Tomarchio, with the furriest of boots keeping her feet warm. Ranging from taller boots to shorter versions, the styles of these boots (and imitations of such footwear) have only increased. This season's round of boots seem to have more of an "Eskimo" appearance, with furry portions adorning both the outer and inner layers of these boots. This style of boots is perfect for the chillier fall mornings, with frost covering the ground under stomping feet. They look best when paired with a rather "layered" outfit, such as a chunky vest, scarf, or sweater.

Mock cowgirl boots: Rachel Bilson has been wearing this style with beauty and grace this season. No longer is this special style reserved for those girls who enjoy swinging up into a saddle. Instead, this fall season has welcomed a trend of a shorter variant of cowgirl boots, far less "country" looking than their predecessors. Perfect for pairing up with skirts or cute dresses, such boots are a great accessory for a fun fall outfit.

"Heeled" boots: Actress Tila 'Tequila' Nguyen has been seen sporting this style with various outfits, but a larger selection of these stylish boots are supported by Kurt Geiger. A more "formal" looking boot, these boots tend to be stylistically somewhere between the typically "biker chic" boots and a pair of high heeled shoes. Shorter than "biker" boots but with longer necks than regular high heels, these boots are a great way to tie in the boot fashion trend with more formal looking business attire.

Colored boots: Sharp heeled, tall, and bold, these boots certainly make a statement. Worn and modeled by actresses such as Milla Jovovich, these boots go best as an accent to darker colored wardrobes.
