Britney Spears rocks Glee ratings

There's no doubt about Britney Spears - she is "ratings royalty" when it comes to her guest spots on popular TV sitcoms and shows. 13.1 million US viewers tuned in to watch her appearance on Glee and Twitter went mad. The Fox television episode featured five of Brit's most successful hits, and her cameo appearance produced the second largest audience in Glee history.

"I loved it! Thank you guys SO much for making this happen," Spears, 28, said in a series of tweets to her fans.

Glee has featured the music of Madonna and Lady Gaga, but those performers did not appear in person on the show. Britney seems to enjoy these performances and was quick to Tweet -

Spears praised the performance of Glee actress Heather Morris, who sang, danced and recreated the pop videos for I'm a Slave 4 U and Me Against the Music. She also revealed that watching actress Lea Michele's cover version of her flirty schoolgirl pop video debut (Hit me) Baby One More Time in 1999 -- "brings back so many memories! Feels like yesterday."

In Australia, Channel Ten proclaimed that 1.17 million Australian viewers tuned in to the program last night, making it the seventh most-watched show of the evening.

Madonna's photos needs extensive computer enhancement to hide signs of aging

A recent "reality shot" of Madonna posing for a Dolce & Gabbana ad campaign reveals she is aging just like all the rest of us do. Madge has protruding veins in her arms and the photos needed extensive computer enhancement before publication. The "before" shot, leaked on the internet, shows the Material Girl in a less than photogenic state.

It is no secret that many magazine photos of celebrities and models are airbrushed to provide readers with a perfect image. Photoshop experts have indicated it would have taken two days to smooth her skin and remove every blemish from the Madonna shots. It is also alleged that Louis Vuitton also used computer trickery on Madonna photos in a campaign earlier this year.

Titanic and Star Wars to be re-released in 3D

James Cameron's smash hit movie Titanic is the second biggest earner in film history. It is no surprise that Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox and Lightstorm Entertainment are planning to release a 3D version of Titanic in April 2012 - 100 years after the mega-steamship hit an iceberg and sunk to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean on its maiden voyage. The 3D release could coincide with George Lucas's Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace in 3D, the first in a series of Star Wars titles to be converted.

The Hollywood Reporter has indicated that the company to be used to convert Titanic to 3D has not yet been chosen, but the cost of the project is estimated at $10 to 15 million US dollars.

Plans to convert 2D films to 3D have been criticized in Hollywood because the 3D release of Clash of the Titans was a major box-office flop.
