John Travolta (56) and Kelly Preston (48), married 19 years, are parents again. Baby Benjamin was born on Tuesday, 23 November weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces. John, Kelly and 10 year old daughter Ella are said to be very happy about the safe arrival of this special baby. In January 2009, their son and brother Jett died during a Bahamas holiday after suffering a seizure. Nothing will bring Jett back, but a new baby in the family will bring a lot of joy.

Celine Dion recently gave birth to fraternal twin boys, brothers for 10 year old Rene after many years of difficulty with pregnancies.

Australian actress Isla Fisher and husband Sacha Baron Cohen kept very quiet about their second child - still a mystery playmate for their 2 year old daughter Olive. These are just a few of the happy events of 2010. Isla will be remembered for her performances in Wedding Crashers and Confessions of a Shopaholic . She and Sacha rarely comment about their personal lives and did not even announce the pregnancy or birth.

The star of movies Muriel's Wedding, The Sixth Sense and Little Miss Sunshine and US TV show The United States of Tara and her husband Dave Galfassi married in 2003 and already have a daughter, Sage Florence born in January 2008. There is no announcement about whether the expected child is a boy or girl. It is reportedly due in March 2011. The couple are currently renovating their Sydney beachside home.

Collette plays a mum with a multiple personality disorder in the Showtime TV drama created by Diablo Cody and Steven Spielberg. She won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her role.

Mariah Carey has overcome sadness and has gone public about her expected baby

"Yes, we are pregnant, this is true!" said Carey, 41, alongside her husband, the rapper and actor Nick Cannon, 30.

Carey revealed that she had a miscarriage two years ago, which explained her reluctance to go public with her latest pregnancy. Her husband has reportedly said the disappointment has brought them closer together. The couple does not know the sex of the baby and would not reveal Carey's due date.

Mariah and Nick married in the Bahamas in April 2008. It was the second marriage for Carey, whose five year union with producer Tony Mottola ended in divorce in 1998. Carey has sold 175 million records since the start of her singing career in 1990.
